Our Classes

Infant Classrooms
Our Infant Classrooms are designed to introduce your little ones to a world of exploration and discovery. With one infant class at each location, our max numbers are 8 infants to 2 fully qualified teachers. Each room has soft flooring for babies to move around safely. Our sleep rooms are equipped with a crib for each infant to call their own for the duration of their time in this space. The exact age they transition out of the infant room will vary depending on the time of their birthdate. Our staff will guide each family according to baby's needs and our program. With playful activities that stimulate their senses, children will develop social skills and learn to express themselves in a safe, nurturing setting. Our daily schedule for infants is created to accommodate each developmental stage and for our staff to scaffold their learning.

Toddler Classrooms
Our Toddler Classes are for children who have already turned 1 year old before the start of the new school year. Children who turn 1 year old after September will be considered for the toddler room between October and January based on developmental progress and milestones. Our toddlers will engage in structured play that fosters cognitive growth and emotional development. This is also the age where we introduce our small group time for more intimate instruction of developing tasks. Our program focuses on language development and communication, self-help skills and comprehension. As our toddlers continue to grow and develop, staff will strongly encourage parents to use CDP services for the child development screening.  Large muscle development through music exploration and body movements are carefully observed as these little ones progress along.

Two's Classes
Our two-year-old classes prepares children for their next step to our preschool class and program. This is when they are introduced to "work areas" in the classroom and learn about making intentional choices and how to use those spaces.  We emphasize readiness skills through hands-on learning experiences as children lead with their interests and teachers provide and introduce new materials and tools for them to use. Toilet training is high on the list in this age group as the children get introduced and become familiar with the toilet and how to use it. This is a very important skill that requires families and staff to work together for success. Self-help skills are continuously worked on to give children confidence in self-management of their day-to-day needs.
Extracurricular music and dance classes are also introduced at this age. Music is a mandatory class and dance is an optional class. Both classes commission outside teachers to come into our school once a week on a termly basis to teach at set times. These classes also incur an extra fee.
3 - 5 Year olds - Preschool Classroom

Our preschool classroom is a multi-aged space for 3 - 4-year-olds and 4 - 5-year-olds. They use the majority of the space on the upper level of the Woodlands Road campus. This is a very busy and active class of children using the fullness of the inspired HighScope program with 7 "work areas" for the children to choose from with 4 teachers working along with them to ensure school readiness and success. Music and dance classes along with field trips and guest visitors. Our Mystery Reader program helps to evoke a love of reading and books and keeps parents and family involved in the learning part of their day. Encouragement of active participation in themed activities while learning keeps the excitement buzzing all year long. We utilize our large outdoor play area as an extension of our indoor classroom by bringing our "work areas" outside. Our little learners love coming to school every day to explore and learn.
